I've been having what I think is partum depression-not to worry-I'm going to go to a therapist! And the other day was really pretty bad, so I put on my iPod and listened to The Chieftains and Damh the Bard while taking a walk by the river. It was a beautiful day and with the lovely, bouncy music I began to feel much better.
The top picture is of a shelter on the north side of the river, across from the houses and letting off of some private land. It's used by anyone from homeless people to illicit lovers and college kids who want to drink beer outside like in the movies. :P Bikers and runners also come to this spot quite often.
The second picture is taken standing around six feet in front of the shelter and facing east, the direction I came from on my walk.
The third is facing west from the same place.
The last is of the sign on the gate at the trail head coming from the west off of the golf course road. And, as I'm sure we all here understand, you HAVE to keep your pot belly pigs leashed. ;)
Zemanta is bugging me so I think I'll sign out. Have a lovely one y'all!

Great shots all, Dubs!
ReplyDeleteLOL about the leashes.

Dubs, what a lovely area to walk in. I like the first photo of the tree.. I don't know why exactly, but I do. I like the second one too.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love Irish/Scottish music, it's very cheerful. I hope you are feeling better! Just take everything one day at a time ...
((hugs))
