I had to schedule this post early because I have a crazy week and I was afraid I might forget. These pictures were taken a week ago. We haven't had much snow this year, but a poor little goldfinch hurt it's wing and it left these patterns in the snow. I thought they were beautiful & interesting. The little bird eventually flew away, so I am hoping it is OK.I also saw a blue bird the same day this photo was taken. Blue birds do not stay here in winter, so it was a very unusual sighting, but I only got a poor photo of it.
