111/365 Waiting for Spring.. Revisited.

April in Wisconsin
Yes, it IS April.
I took this photo yesterday.
It's not the best quality photo as I took it through the glass of our patio door and it was
snowing pretty hard at the time.
This is a cardinal. A male.
He's come to our deck and he's looking up at the feeder hanging from the soffit.
I make sure I put out plenty of seed for them.
Spring, Spring.. where art thou?

  1. Oooooo we don't get Cardinals here in the PNW!! I love the bird and the color is so bright.

It does make me sad to think you are still dealing with snow this late in the season but you know that Spring has to come soon. Hang in there sweetie!

  2. Yes, that is a lovely Cardinal. I miss them from living back on the East coast, especially Virginia, that is the state bird.

Sorry for all the snow. It WILL go away, I know it, hopefully this is the last of the white stuff that you will see.

    ((hugs))

  4. Boo for snow. Last time we had snow in April was five years ago, and I don't miss that winter one bit!
