Our small city is fortunate to be home to the Wisconsin Museum of Art.
There are various sculptures placed around town and this particular work is a favorite photo spot.
I really don't know much about the piece, but it always brings a smile to my face.
The Art museum is currently right across from the library,
but they are hoping to raise funds to move into a new, larger structure in the near future.

How whimsical!! Very sweet the froggies playing instruments. I like the picture AND the artwork. Is it a large museum? I assume mostly things made by locals?

So, when the statues were commissioned,was there an outcry from the citizens?
ReplyDeleteYou should have heard the noise that came from my home town when they started to put statues on the city streets....
But then if you had seen the stupid things, you'd scream, too.
