Here in the United States we celebrate Memorial Day on the last Monday of May and tomorrow May 30th is when we celebrate it this year. It is to honor all those who have gone before us. We remember our loved ones as well as those who died in the wars around the world. Flags are flown at half mast, graves are covered in flowers and mementos from their families. It is a time to reflect in who we are and those who shaped us. A time to say Thanks!

Someday there will be no more wars...
ReplyDeleteYeah, someday.
May they all rest in peace and be remembered forever.

Thanks for remembering, Vanadarlin'. ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteThe Bow cemetery looks like they take great care in the memories of the fallen soldiers.
