4/366...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Space Needle fireworks at home.

So, every New Years Eve Seattle sets off the Space Needle. It's a great sight and lots of people attend. I never have because of my work schedule. I don't know if I ever will, but If I do, it'll be when I can save some dollars to get a hotel for the night. It's a long dark ride home, you know.

However this year as I was sitting at home waiting to watch the Needle go up on the TV, my youngest calls me. "Hey, Mom," he said. "Guess where I am?"

Yep, on the spur of the moment he and his buddy decided to hit Seattle and watch the Needle go up. By the time they got there, it was really socked in but he did get a couple of shots. Below is my favorite.

The Needle Live.
Hope all of you had a good celebration and here's to a good 2012.
