At last!
I went back to Teremiski this weekend for a follow-up concerning the film project I was working on, and I finally managed to photograph some wild wisent! Or 'żubry' as we call them. They were out in the frosty field in the morning, and unlike the first few times I saw them, I could get close enough to take pictures.
This makes me very, very happy.

Ooh! A frosty Buffalo!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it's sizing you up.
ReplyDeleteWow, such a neat shot.
Calma
Calma, it was. That's what they do, I learned last time when we saw a whole herd in the forest. They saw us too soon and we couldn't get any closer. This time I was very very quiet and careful, because I knew that as soon as one of the bulls saw me, he would keep an eye on me and watch what I did. If I moved closer they would run away...but I was close enough already. 300 mm lens was also very helpful ;)
ReplyDeleteRun away is OK. It's run at ME that I would like to avoid.
ReplyDeleteLove this shot.
