These are the Tacoma Narrows bridges. The old one is on the left. That's the one that replaced "Galloping Gurdy". The new one was completed last year and it has sure relieved the congestion of the old bridge.
We are looking at the view going from Gig Harbor to Tacoma. Kind of a cloudy morning, but the bridges still look neat.

Cool picture of the new bridge. There is talk or building a new "interstate" bridge that goes from Vancouver to Portland down here....It would have to improve things dramatically, most congested area of the morning and evening commute.
