The first two are of a couple of sayings I have up around my room as personal pick-me-ups.
The last one, I didn't take but was sent to me by my "little" brother, and is of him, being sworn into the Army. Never been so proud (or scared) in my life.
Good luck to your brother, PB. I hope he's stationed Stateside permanently. If not, I hope he comes home to you and yours whole. Tell him thank you for me and to keep his head down and never...EVER.... volunteer for anything.
He'll be leaving for basic in Georgia on October 4th. Hoping I'll get to see him at least once before then. (we're not a very connected family. if not for internet and texting, we'd never hear from each other)
