Going with the fireworks theme too. Unfortunately, my night-time camera problems persist even with my new toy. Gonna hafta fix that at some point.
I also grabbed some video too, though, which turned out a bit better. One from the middle and another from the grand finale (couldn't get them any bigger than this, though):
If you look really close you might see some smaller bursts of light at the bottom of those videos. Those are the firework displays of other communities in the area. Sadly, some of those started before ours did and kept going on after ours finished. :(

krawler, the videos are really cool. In the first one about mid through there is one set that looked like the American Flag. Coolness.
