188/365 - Mount Baker

This is the beautiful Mount Baker up at my end of the state and also in that ring of fire that I mentioned before. This one is within view of our area most times but a small hill is between it and our house so we do not get to see it when we are home. If this mountain blew like St. Helens did, our area would not be too damaged because of the hills between us but if it caused a sudden rise in the Puget Sound I think we would be under water and debris. I don't think I will worry about it though cause Baker is dormant right now. Though it does set off steam now and then. I guess it is snoring or something. :D

  1. Another great shot Vanadarlin'. :D You are indeed getting great shots from a moving vehicle.

So we have seen Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker, Mt. St. Helen's....I will get a shot of Mt. Hood, that will just leave Mt. Adams and we have our five "ring of fire" mountains in this area. :D
