274/365: Tango Night

A girl I used to be in high school with called me up the other day and asked if she could sleep at my place when she was in town for the Tango Festival. No problem, I said, just ask if I can come along to take some photos.

Tango at Poznanski's Palace

So, what I found out is that apparently the tango must be danced between ten pm and four am, because it's a dance of the night. And if possible, it must be danced non-stop. Then there's the afterparty, where you socialise until seven am, and you won't be able to sleep it off the next day, either, because there are lectures!

I don't like dancing. When I watch people do it, I appreciate the aesthetics- it's magical! But I can't imagine how it could be any fun at all. And yet it must be, if these people are willing to spend all night twirling around.
