I won this bamboo plant in a hat contest at my department's Holiday reception last December. At the time it had five stalks; three of them died right off, but the other two are flourishing and taking over the world--I wish I had a picture of it when I first got it for comparison, since it started out as mostly stalk with just a few leaves, and now it's got tons!
