286/365 Apple Tasting in Jane Austen Country

At the weekend, we visited my sweetheart's family in Hampshire, England. Where they live is very near to where Jane Austen lived, and a walk we took on Saturday offered a lot of views that looked like 'Austen-country' to me. :D

On the Sunday, the neighbouring village had "Apple Day", a traditional harvest festival where you could try lots of different kinds of apples, have your apple trees identified and look at lots of different crafts (and buy the results of the crafting, of course ;) ).

In the evenings, it was family dinners and after-dinner games. It was a fabulous weekend, and we were so lucky that the weather held. It was a bit cloudy on Saturday, but it stayed dry, and on Sunday we even had a bit of Sunshine.
