12/365: Some fresh basil





This picture was taken very early this morning in my kitchen, in Vancouver WA. *wink*

I love to use fresh basil in cooking and I cook Italian quite a bit.  It lasts a long time and does actually grow.  I replace it three or four times a year.

I got a new camera after I took these pictures this morning.  So next week, I am hoping that there will be more variety and better quality.

  1. Is there any soil in the bottom of that vase? I'm curious as I can never keep basil alive. I'd love to use it more as I adore fresh basil but it always dies on me. :(
