I found this leaf (and many like it) in the garden while spring-cleaing in the flower bed, and I was intrigued by the beautiful filigree of the veins - the skeleton, so to speak - which is all that is left of the substance of the leaf after winter has rotted away the majority of the material - apart from a few bits that add interest to the pattern.
And trying to find a place to take a photo of it (it's pretty much invisible if held against most backgrounds), I saw what a beautiful shadow it casts, too. :)
Hobby, what a gorgeous picture. Very inspirational. And you are too industrious working in your garden already this year. :D
