84/365: Mystery toy

My daughter makes things like this all the time. I don't know what it is but I think it's hilarious.

  1. Is that made of Femo or modeling plastic? It is very interesting and I think she has a great eye for color and contrast. I like it myself!!

  4. Vana, that's Model Magic clay, you get it in craft and toy stores. It air drys so it's easy to use. You know the movie Corpse Bride? We made her a really cool skull out of it for a Bone Jangles (the dancing skeleton) for halloween a couple of years ago.

and MagicMadzik, (is that Rodia?) she's 12 and she's been making things like this for years. She used to get insects and frogs from pictures in books she has. She'd make little half inch models and they were really accurate. I should get a pic of some of those if she still has them.

    Thanks Calma.

  5. Very good work for a 12 year old. :D I like it. She has a wonderful imagination and can put it into art. Special.
