Here is a view back towards our place. We are above the closest pole and behind the barn you can barely make out. Then about two blocks farther and you, if the barn was not there, could see our house. We see the lights of the Chuckanut Inn from our front windows but the parking lot we are taking these pictures from is behind the barn so it blocks our view. But it is a beautiful valley!! Ryan and I love to take drives up Chuckanut Drive to Bellingham and if any of you come to visit us, we will take you there to see the sunsets and also enjoy the forest drive along the coast!! ReplyDeleteThat's Washington State for you. At least half of the state. When not getting any snow, we get rain, which makes it beautiful in the winter, things get greener.
ReplyDeleteUnlike other places that die off in the winter and green up in the summer, we get drier in the summer and greener in the winter.
